Symbiocity – Sviluppo sostenibile e olistico

Dopo aver trascorso sei mesi in Svezia ed aver ammirato il rispetto che questo Paese ha per l’ambiente, è per me doveroso questo post su SymbioCity, quartiere costruito sul vecchio porto di Stoccolma.
SymbioCity promuove lo sviluppo urbano olistico e sostenibile, trovando sinergismi potenziali nelle funzioni urbane e sbloccando la loro efficienza e profitto. In questo quartiere si utilizza un sistema idrico duale con l’uso delle acque piovane per lo scarico del wc. I rifiuti, precedentemente differenziati, vengono utilizzati per il riscaldamente delle abitazioni. Grazie anche all’utilizzo di energie rinnovabili, in Symbiocity si è avuta una riduzione dell’impatto ambientale di circa 50%.
Simbiosi significa integrazione tra due o più organismi in un’unione reciprocamente favorevole. In Svezia, dove per cinquanta anni gli studi si sono focalizzati sulla pianificazione della città olistica, simbiosi significa l’individuazione dei sinergismi fra i sistemi tecnologici urbani che salvano le risorse naturali e diminuiscono il consumo.
SymbioCity è il marchio che riflette tutte le conoscenza ed l’esperienza rispetto al metodo svedese sulla sostenibilità.
Diverse centinaia di consulenti, appaltatori e fornitori svedesi del sistema si sono organizzati in varie reti, dedicate alla diffusione della visione di urbanismo sostenibile, rendendo l’esecuzione più breve possibile. E’ stato messo in pratica un metodo olistico per lo sviluppo urbano sostenibile basato soprattutto su esperienze ottimali. Viene usato un metodo integrato dove i campi differenti di azione saranno coordinati ed uniti in modo ottimale. Infine si offre un concetto che può adattarsi ai livelli differenti di sviluppo di città e paesi in funzione delle differenti situazioni di progettazione.
